I call upon God's Name and on my own.
Today as I was working with the Lesson, my insight opened up and inserted a 'comma' after the word 'still'. Try it.
I am not a body. I am free. For I am still (unmoving, deeply & perfectly quiet), as God created me.....
Why would it be that God created us 'still'? It must be related to why we have been long instructed to 'be still, and know God'. I think so. For is not God 'the immoveable, the eternal, that which remains when all that moves has past by'? Is not God 'the absolute', and all knowledge, and all power? Where can such beingness arise from? Only stillness.
True power is not 'a force in action', it is, rather, the potential to act without limits and without error. Only perfect stillness can see the entire universe without error, and know IT as itself.
While words may only point to this, in deep meditation this is self-obvious, and tastable. AND, it is, when tasted, the end of the 'I'. How could it not be? IF you/I become as still as God, nothing exists that could keep us from becoming one with Him/Her/It. The only question is: are we ripened enough to be willing to let go of the Self we have always thought we were?
It matters not that every day of our lives in the past we have said 'no'. There approaches now the day of 'yes'. As we see the dawn of that day lightening up the horizon of our life, we shall no longer be afraid...of anything. We shall see there was never ever anything to fear. For on that day, we shall know ourselves as perfect Love.
In this Love are all fantasies undone, and the Real becomes known.
Namaste,
David

Lesson 203
I am not a body. I am free.
For I am still as God created me.
(183) I call upon God's Name and on my own.
The Name of God is my deliverance from every thought of
evil and of sin, because it is my own as well as His.
I am not a body. I am free.
For I am still as God created me.
