Commentary on ACIM Lesson 318

© 2010 Rev. David Seacord

Remember, there are no miracles that are easier or harder than any other. They are all the same to God, and as we see more and more clearly, we will see that too.

So that would mean if something seems impossible, we are not seeing at all, but are instead creating a dreamed up world entirely within our own mind. For that is the only place where the illusions of the impossible can appear to have any reality. Since in truth God/Godness is the only reality, nothing that is true is impossible. Therefore, we experience miracles temporarily as we are crossing the bridges which Grace builds for us to leave the land of illusions, and enter the lands of Heaven. Once completely established in Heaven-land, miracles disappear as 'miracles'. They are just the normal workings of the divine order inside the realm of the atonement, which simply means 'the acceptance of the God-You-Me oneness'. This acceptance is instantaneous the moment we release our personal story of specialness. And in that moment, we discover the absurdity of ego's seduction's of our mind. On the order of impossibilities it is at the top, for it attempts to convince us that our life is without meaning.

There is no greater falsehood. All existence know the direct opposite.... that meaning is in everything. Besides having no ego, all it takes to see the 'self-obvious, with no exertion of the minds power' meaning of the universe at any point inside time/space is one thing.... a still and quiet mind freed of any idea of what must be. In other words, a mind in communion with what IS. This communion is what we call 'Love'.

Namaste,

David

Lesson 318

In me salvation's means and end are one.

In me, God's holy Son, are reconciled all parts of Heaven's plan to save the world. What could conflict, when all the parts have but one purpose and one aim? How could there be a single part that stands alone, or one of more or less importance than the rest? I am the means by which God's Son is saved, because salvation's purpose is to find the sinlessness that God has placed in me. I was created as the thing I seek. I am the goal the world is searching for. I am God's Son, His one eternal Love. I am salvation's means and end as well.

Let me today, my Father, take the role You offer me in Your request that I accept Atonement for myself. For thus does what is thereby reconciled in me become as surely reconciled to You.
