God is my Source. I cannot see apart from him.
God is neither man nor woman, male nor female. Even so, the language of humanity is. Today let us remember that The All-Inclusive Wholeness contains all forms of access to Infinity, including 'the Goddess'. As the Course language is non-dual, Her Presence is implicit, but unspoken. As we are culturally diverse (yet one in our humanity) there are many for whom the female archetype -- the Goddess-- provides a more tangible and real access to the Heart Cave than any other. Forgiveness, the central theme of this Course and the path to it's Reality, is Yielding. Yielding, being soft, giving, yin, receptive--- these are all qualities that are traditionally understood as arising from the divine feminine, the Goddess. What I am saying is it is OK to think of Our Source as female, as the Divine Mother. It still works (qualifies as authentic ego-surrender), and for some, it works best. And it is 'good flexibility practice' also to occasionally 'walk in each others shoes'.
Whether in the yin or yang or androgynous form, no true spiritual growth occurs without (outside of) a unified mind. In this unifiedness, nothing is separate, and Love awakens correct relatedness with all others. Faith lives from here, as does also courageous action. If you are a Goddess Worshipper, and you are a student of this Course also, that is courageous action. To yield to and be nurtured by Truth expressed/languaged (as in this Course) as singular male is a powerful demonstration of selfless clarity and commitment to Wholeness. For all of us, I write these words today to recognize you as our Sacred Sister.
The paths to Wholeness are unlimited. It is wise to honor them all, yet practical to walk in the Way most true to our individual nature. From there, in Peace, and in Silence, one naturally transcends the World, and embraces the Source containing us All.
Namaste,
David
